De L’eglise

De L'eglise

Day 6: Going by prompts from a facebook group ’31 days of drawing’ now. Today was ‘Something Old’ (vague, but helpful), so I drew the De L’eglise church towers I see from my balcony, which are especially spectacular as the sun sets and picks out their form in sharp shaded relief.

Drawing in some chalk pastels I dug up, haven’t done that since I was a kid, but I found this set, and I was inspired by another artist’s blog ‘Cardboard Towns’ who’s pastel and mixed media urban landscapes make me drool.
