A fortuitous Poem

this slim gold necklace
in a puddle of water
on the porcelain ledge of the bath

that red metal canteen
dented scraped and bashed
left frozen on a table at the work site

one lost
one found
packed into a suitcase
for a new adventure

Day 7: “choose an object from List 1, a location from List 2, and connect them in a poem with ideas from Lists 3 & 4 and Voilà! A fortuitous poem!”
